How can digital annotation transform the reading classroom? Digital texts and social annotation tools allow our students to create and share conversations within texts. In this workshop, we’ll explore several types of annotations, new tools for collaborative digital annotation, and ways to integrate students’ digital annotations into comprehensive literacy instruction. Attendees are encouraged to bring technology for hands-on digital annotation: smartphones, tablets, or laptops.
